2. Data We Collect and Why

3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- Your name, email address, or any account credentials
- Your precise location
- Contacts, photos, or any data from other apps
- Which specific stations you listen to (history stays on-device only)
4. Third-Party Services
Radio Everywhere integrates the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Firebase (Google) — Anonymous authentication, crash reporting, and content delivery. The cached station and country lists are served over HTTPS through Firebase Hosting's CDN on our domains (everywhere-radio.com / radioguguta.com); Google's edge processes the request's IP address and the country code you request to return the list. - RevenueCat — Subscription management and purchase verification. RevenueCat Privacy
- Google AdMob — Advertising SDK used in the free tier. Google Privacy Policy
- Radio Browser API (radio-browser.info) — Free, open-source public directory of 55,000+ radio stations, and the source of our station listings. No personal data is sent to this service; it receives only the station identifier and stream requests needed to play radio. Radio Browser
We require all third-party providers to handle your data in compliance with applicable privacy law.
5. Advertising (Free Tier)
Users on the free tier see banner and occasional interstitial ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android) and your IP address to serve interest-based ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising at any time via your device settings:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalisation"
Premium subscribers see no ads.
6. Free Trial and Subscriptions
New installs receive a 7-day free premium trial automatically — no sign-up required. To prevent duplicate trials on reinstall, we store a random anonymous identifier on your device (Keychain on iOS, Google Auto Backup on Android). This identifier contains no personal information; it is used only to match your device to an existing RevenueCat customer record.
Subscription billing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never see or store your payment card details.
7. Children's Privacy
Radio Everywhere is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the data associated with you. Because we identify you only by an anonymous device ID (no email or name), the most effective way to exercise these rights is:
- Delete all local data — Clear app data (Android) or delete and reinstall the app (iOS)
- Delete your Firebase anonymous account — Contact us at rbandcomobileapps@gmail.com with your anonymous UID (found in app settings, if displayed) and we will delete it
- Opt out of advertising — See Section 5 above
EU/EEA residents may also lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
9. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS for all network communication, Firebase security rules for backend access, and platform keychain/encrypted storage for sensitive identifiers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Transfers
Our third-party providers (Google, RevenueCat) may process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. These transfers are covered by the providers' respective data transfer mechanisms (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses for EU data).
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
